Appointment

For every commission we create a photographic brief to ensure all of the Client requirements and expectations are met. Although each commission is bespoke we would generally require some or all of the following information prior to finalising an appointment, depending on the subject matter:

Location & Access for Architectural Subjects
Exact location of the site with postal address.
Location map with north point indicated.
Building or site layout showing main orientations, vistas, current or intended use.
Owner permission & contact details.
Security and Management personnel informed & contact details.
Letter of authority if relevant.
If there are any buildings under construction or site works in progess.
Seasonal variation, leaves on trees, degree of overshadow from adjoining buildings, snow etc.

Photographic Brief for All Subjects
Client expectations.
Key features to highlight and flaws to downplay.
Number of key views expected.
Day or night images preferred.
Interior or exterior images required.
Design and material features.

Programme, Assignment and Terms
Delivery deadlines, with an allowance for inclement weather if relevant to the subject.
Accounts department information such as purchase order requirements or specific invoice details etc.
Copyright will be retained by archiview unless transferred specifically in writing.
archiview retains the right to use any image for its own marketing purposes.
archiview has public liability insurance cover to the value of £1m.
